Juventus have their ‘market-men’ at work reports Italian newspaper Leggo on Friday.
The Turin club like to plan ahead and always seem to be working on a long list of potential signings, trying to get value deals to work alongside big purchases.
On Saturday evening they travel to Tuscany to face Fiorentina in Serie A, and Leggo says that gives them a chance to edge forward with their Federico Chiesa and Nikola Milenkovic files.
The latter is attracting others too. Leggo say ‘Tottenham are also on him’, along with Manchester United who are linked to most half decent defenders around Europe.
Milenkovic is 21 years of age, and it’s said Fiorentina estimate his transfer value at ‘around €40m’.
That sounds a much better figure for Tottenham than previous claims.
In October it was reported that Manchester United had made a €60m offer for the player, which had been knocked back but could be acceptable during the summer window, rather than January.
Spurs were then said to be ‘only a step below’ with their interest. Maybe that’s 20m steps below.
