Tottenham have proposed including Victor Wanyama in a deal to bring Lyon striker Moussa Dembélé to the club this month.
Spurs are expected to be on the hunt for a new striker after losing Harry Kane until April at the earliest with a ruptured hamstring.
AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piątek has already been linked with a move as a result and the latest name to join the list is Dembélé.
Reports in England have suggested that Tottenham are looking at the Lyon man, but according to Foot Mercato, they have already made their move.
The website reports that Spurs have ‘already proposed’ to include a player in a deal for the French striker. That man is Victor Wanyama.
Tottenham do not have a lot of money for this winter window, so they want to lower the price for Dembélé by including Wanyama, who has made just two appearances this season.
Lyon have ‘no sporting interest’ in selling Dembélé but financially speaking it’s another matter, particularly if the English clubs interested offer good money.
Spurs don’t seem capable of doing that, though, and ‘it remains to be seen’ whether their proposal will be of any interest to the Rhone club.
