However, before an offer is made, the Tottenham chairman appears to be using his normal tactics of trying to reduce the price by ‘wanting to offer a technical counterpart (a player) with a cash adjustment’.
Milan, down their end, ‘don’t appear convinced by this counteroffer’.
There’s no indication as to who that player might be, but with Ricardo Rodriguez potentially going to Napoli, perhaps it’s a left back?
