Following weeks of rumours, it seems Tanguy Ndombele is finally on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur.
According to the latest reports from France, the 25-year-old is ready to sign for Lyon, as the transfer is ‘done’.
The information is brought by Telefoot journalist Julien Maynard, who claims the midfielder is at first moving on a free loan until the end of the season.
Then comes the most interesting claim about the agreement, which is Lyon’s buying option. It’s said the Ligue 1 side can make Ndombele’s move permanent if they pay Tottenham a fee of €65m.
Tottenham spent €60m to sign Ndombele from the very same Lyon back in 2019. Despite some good flashes, he’s been struggling to have playing time since the last summer, getting only nine Premier League appearances so far this season.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to Italy and even to Paris Saint Germain, but it seems it’s really Lyon who won the race for his signing.
