As we near towards January, the stories about players whose deals are expiring in the summer are going to grow.
Among those can be found Corentin Tolisso, currently contract at Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, and a few clubs are currently queuing for his services.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim Tottenham, Paris Saint-Germain and Atlético Madrid are the clubs who have ‘an advantage’ on Juventus and Inter.
That Spurs would be interested in him isn’t exactly a surprise, as there is always a need for a player of his versatility, as he is capable of playing any role through the middle, ranging from defensive to attacking midfield.
Bringing in a proven international such as Tolisso, albeit with an injury history, on a free would make some sense, and the fact Tottenham have an advantage, likely both financial and from playing in the Premier League, over clubs currently in the Champions League will be a boost to Fabio Paratici and co.
The 27-year-old has made 101 appearances for Bayern since joining in 2017, scoring 19 goals and picking uo 13 assists along the way.
