It appears that we are on the verge of seeing Jadon Sancho heading back to Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United.
THat’s according to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, who took to X to reveal the news on Tuesday afternoon.
The reporter claims the deal is ‘almost a done deal’, and there is a ‘total agreement’ between both Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United, which is ‘on the verge’ of being finalised.
In fact, he reckons that could be done today, as there are only ‘small details’ left to be clarified before the move can be made official.
Sancho is expected to leave Manchester United for the next six months on loan after falling out with Erik ten Hag, who hasn’t played him since the player’s outburst on social media.
He will head back to Dortmund in hope of getting his career back on track, having failed to live up to his large transfer fee at Old Trafford under various managers, including the man currently in charge.
Once his time in Germany comes to an end, it’s likely all parties will then sit down to figure out what happens from the summer onwards.
