Ousmane Dembele has been in the news for the wrong reasons in the past week.
A few days ago, Barcelona were unable to locate him for an hour and a half, as he turned up late for training and also for Sunday’s clash against Real Betis.
A ‘Top Secret’ report from Mundo Deportivo now claims the France international’s agent, Moussa Sissoko, met with the leaders of the Catalan club met on Tuesday.
Barca sports manager for football Pep Segura and technical secretary Eric Abidal met the forward’s representative at Sofia Hotel, where they held important discussions, before heading to the club’s office.
Sissoko’s visit was only to meet the heavyweights of the La Liga winners and not his client, who is currently with the France national camp preparing for the international fixtures.
Barcelona’s ‘position is clear’ about their stance on the World Cup winner as they trust 
him for his ability and quality, which is why they spent big on signing him in 2017.
However, he is under the ‘magnifying glass’ as the players and the coaching staff, who have tried to help him, are getting tired because the 21-year-old is still struggling to follow the professional dynamics of the team.
If the European giants decide not to sell him in January, Dembele may have time until end of this season to save his Barca career.
