Back in January, we covered claims from the Spanish press which said West Ham United were ‘in talks’ for the Viktoria Plzen midfielder Patrik Hrovosky.
Not having many details, AS only said the Hammers would have competition from Stuttgart in the race, and no numbers were mentioned, except for Transfermarket’s €4.5m evaluation.
Now it turns out that the opportunity is encouraged again, this time in a story coming from Czech outlet iDnes.
As the website lists ten talents who did well in the league this season, they name Hrosovsky… saying it’s time for him to be rewarded with a move to a top league.
iDnes writes that if West Ham go back for him in the summer, they will have a ‘tireless worker’ waiting for them.
The player is much praised because he’s played for 90 minutes in all of Viktoria Plzen’s 30 league matches. That’s 2,700 league minutes this season.
So if West Ham are looking for a reliable midfield asset, they probably know by now that Hrosovsky won’t let them down.
