Inter Milan are reportedly considering to make an offer for the Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.
According to Calcio Mercato Web, the new club manager Frank De Boer has suggested the signing and the board are now thinking of how to convince the Spurs.
Tottenham reportedly think Eriksen is worth around €35m. The article mentions the player’s refusal to extend his contract as an advantage for Inter.
This move looks fantastic for the Italian side, but Calcio Mercato Web should consider Eriksen’s perspective as well.
Besides Spurs having thrashed Inter 6-1 in a friendly on Friday, Eriksen had an excellent season at Tottenham, helping the club to get a Champions League spot this season, which the Italian club won’t have.
It’s hard to believe the Dane would have any reason to change Spurs for Inter, unless they can convince him with a fantastic project or a very profitable deal.
Neither are likely.
