In his last match for Chelsea, Alvaro Morata scored twice. Those were the only goals of the game as the Premier League club beat Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

After a rumour which was dragged out for some weeks, the Spaniard joined Atletico Madrid on a loan deal. Still technically a Chelsea player, the 26 year old is on loan for the rest of this season and the whole of the next one… with various clauses which can allow an early return.

So far he’s played three games and he’s been doing pretty well, but there’s been no goal. He got an assist in Atletico’s 1-0 victory over Rayo Vallecano and was probably unlucky not to get himself a goal against Real Madrid.

Wednesday night sees Juventus visit the Wanda, and Marca have started to heighten the pressure for a goal.

Telling Morata ‘it’s your time’, the Spanish newspaper point out that hitting the back of the net against Juve would be quite useful, and they’re already pointing out there’s been no goal yet from the Chelsea owned player.

Atletico then face Villarreal at home, and if Morata hasn’t scored against Juve the pressure will get very real indeed.
