Andrea Belotti has a contract with Torino which expires at the end of June, and it’s been expected he’ll leave the club who he’s been with since 2015.
The striker has been something of a hero for Torino fans down the years, so the exit will be difficult, but is now on the cards.
Belotti has a renewal offer on the table from the Serie A side, with La Stampa explaining Torino want an answer by Sunday and will not wait for long after that.
According to the Italian newspaper, the 28-year-old has three other options, and those are West Ham, AS Roma and Toronto FC.
La Stampa suggest that there hasn’t been the number of concrete approaches Belotti and his camp expected. There’s been plenty of interest, yet only a few clubs have seriously come forward.
With West Ham being one of those named, the insinuation is David Moyes side have made a genuine approach for the player.
La Stampa say ‘the time has come’ for Belotti to decide his future, and pick one of the options he has on the table, with the suggestion the possibility of staying at Torino will disappear unless he commits quickly.
