Crystal Palace’s decision to part ways with Patrick Vieira in March has clearly paid off. They went on a 12-game run without a win and were three points above the relegation zone when the Frenchman left Selhurst Park.

The Eagles appointed Roy Hodgson as the manager until the end of the season and he’s helped them pick up 17 points from nine league games. This has seen them climb to the 11th spot in the table.

After this season, Crystal Palace will have to find a new manager while Vieira has to look for a new club. The latter ‘intends to find a club’ this summer, according to Thursday’s L’Equipe.

The former OGC Nice manager doesn’t see it as a priority to return to his country and his future could be in England. It’s stated the 46-year-old has been ‘requested’ by three Premier League sides so far after his time at Crystal Palace.

L’Equipe doesn’t provide the details of these English clubs, but state there are already serious leads from England for Vieira to return to a bench next season.
