In recent days there have been reports Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci could join Greek side PAOK this summer. However, there are claims in Italy the 27 year old could still return to Italian football, with three clubs looking to sign the player.

Calciomercato.it have reported Bologna, Benevento, and Cagliari are still showing an interest in the Leeds United outcast, despite his agent being in talks with PAOK yesterday. All three Italian clubs have been linked with Bellusci in recent weeks, but nothing yet has materialised.

The central defender spent last season on loan with Empoli, but the Tuscan club didn’t redeem the Leeds United man due to their relegation to Serie B. It’s likely Bellusci would still be eyeing a return to Serie A, and a move to either Bologna or Cagliari could appeal more to the player.

Bellusci has already been told he has no future at Leeds United, and a move could happen in the coming weeks.
