As Manchester United player Mason Greenwood continues to look for a club to play for next season, it seems Italy is increasingly becoming a likely destination for him.
In the past few weeks, reports from the local media have been claiming that Juventus and Lazio are both interested in him.
Now as reported by Sky Sport and relayed by AreaNapoli, it’s Napoli who joined the race for the Manchester United attacker.
Now since most European giants are interested in taking Victor Osimhen from Napoli, that scenario is mentioned, but only as a ‘distant possibility’.
It then seems more like they’d try a dry deal for Greenwood, who is again on his way out of Manchester United.
On Tuesday, reports from Italy claimed that Lazio officials flew to England to speak to the Red Devils about the player. Now it seems they’ll have some more competition.
