On Thursday, numerous Portuguese outlets took up claims from the media England which said that Marco Silva could be the next Nottingham Forest manager.
After leaving Olympiakos, the Portuguese coach was pointed as the most likely man to take charge of the English club, especially by HITC Sports.
But Portuguese newspaper Record goes against all of these claims. They say that a Championship club is not a priority for the manager at the moment, and therefore his future doesn’t look like it will be there.
The article explains that Silva will analyse every other option before signing for Nottingham Forest, it would be his last choice. A deal isn’t impossible, but the Portuguese media consider it unlikely.
The manager was also linked to the Southampton job in the past few days, but he’s considered to be an underdog for that vacancy.
