According to Tuttomercatoweb, peace has broken out at Chelsea’s training ground. After a difficult few days, it’s stated that Antonio Conte and Diego Costa have shook hands and made up.

Starting their article by saying ‘Smiles, handshakes and peace is served’, TMW claim the two men have put the problems of the past week behind them, and are doing so for ‘the good of Chelsea’.

With the London club in a battle to win the Premier League, and doing very well in that regard, a cold war at Cobham is the last thing Chelsea fans will have wanted to witness.

Claims of a huge offer from China turning Costa’s head, and leading to a mysterious injury, have created some worry, but if TMW are right that should all be gone… at least until the summer.

Costa has been repeatedly linked with a Chelsea exit since not long after he arrived at the club, and it’s inevitable that, assuming he’s still there for the second half of the season, the rumours will start again ahead of the summer window.
