Earlier today, we covered claims from the French press saying Arsenal are following the Napoli right-back Kévin Malcuit.

France Football wrote that the 27-year-old has become a ‘priority’ for Unai Emery following Hector Bellerin’s injury, and now the Gunners are ‘clearly’ after the Frenchman.

Also today, Malcuit’s agent has spoken to the Italian media.

Bruno Satin was interviewed by Radio CRC, and besides talking about topics such as racism, his client’s hair and the player’s development under Carlo Ancelotti, the representative also teased with the interest from an English side.

“There’s a London club that are looking for a right-back, they have asked about Kevin, but his stay at Napoli isn’t in discussion,” Satin told Radio CRC (via Calcio Napoli 24).

Asked if the club would be Arsenal, Satin said: “It may be them, but it’s not said, he’s fine with Mr. Ancelotti and the Neapolitan environment.”

Kévin Malcuit was signed on a €12m deal from Lille last summer. As he’s agreed to a four-year contract, it doesn’t sound like Napoli would be interested in selling the player so soon, unless Arsenal come with a really good offer to convince them.
