Manchester United have reportedly sent emissaries to the north of Portugal so they could watch one more of Porto’s games. This time, they saw a 4-0 away win over Feirense, who had no chance against the Dragons.

The Red Devils haven’t been heavily (well, seriously) linked to any Porto player in the past few months, but they’ve been scouting so many of their games that it’s very unlikely they don’t have someone in their list.

Let’s take André Silva for example. He scored two more this Sunday, reaching the mark of 14 goals this season. Manchester United have also watched him scoring a brace against Leicester City last week, so it’s impossible not to pay a bit of attention.

Players such as Danilo, Iván Marcano and Yacine Brahimi also had a good rating given by Portuguese newspaper Record.

CapturarPorto are currently in second place of the Portuguese league table, four points behind the leaders Benfica.

They will now face Juventus in the Champions League’s round-of-16.

There have been links between Andre Silva and Manchester United, but nothing especially serious, and at this stage it looks to be general scouting.
