Leeds United returned to the Premier League last season and before their promotion to the top flight was confirmed, they were linked with a handful of players from the South American market.
Among them was Adolfo Gaich, but there weren’t any concrete claims of the Whites wanting to sign the forward.
The 22-year-old left San Lorenzo to join CSKA Moscow a year ago and his early struggles convinced the Russian club to allow him to join Benevento on loan in January.
TuttoMercatoWeb report the Argentine is back in Moscow following his temporary spell with the Serie A side.
However, his future won’t be with CSKA as the player is ‘destined to leave’ his current employer soon, on another loan deal.
Leeds get a mention and it’s said ‘there is an offer from Leeds United’. The Argentine, however, will not join Bielsa’s side as he ‘prefers a new experience’ in Italy.
TMW doesn’t specify where Gaich will play next season, but a ‘new experience’ suggests a return to Benevento is not on the cards.
