VfB Stuttgart’s Angelo Stiller has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer window.

A week ago, Stuttgarter Nachrichten reported the Reds are showing great interest in the 24-year-old. They also explained Stuttgart can’t ignore the possibility of Liverpool offering €60m and this has become a concern for them.

Stiller has operated as a defensive midfielder and still contributed four goals and nine assists from 46 games this season.

Sky Deutschland state his strong performances have seen him attract interest from other clubs. They point out recent claims made elsewhere which stated Liverpool are eyeing a move for the Germany international.

Sky have wasted no time to dismiss Reds interest in the player as they claim ‘there is no truth to these rumours’.

At the start of this year, the German signed a new contract until 2028, and it doesn’t have a release clause. The Bundesliga club, for their part, want to retain him for next season.

According to the report, Stuttgart would be willing to talk if they were to receive an offer of around €60m. With the Liverpool links dismissed, they now have a better chance of retaining Stiller at the club.
