Feyenoord striker Anis Hadj Moussa absolutely has the quality to succeed at Tottenham if they were to move for him in the coming months.

That’s according to his former teammate Henk Dijkhuizen via Voetbal Primeur, who believes the 22-year-old has everything to succeed at a higher level.

Moussa has been earning himself admirers thanks to his performances for Feyenoord this season, with six goals and one assist in 16 games in all competitions this season.

His performances in the Champions League have been particularly impressive as he’s managed three goals, and one assists in five games so far and was one of the stars of the 3-3 draw with Manchester City last month.

He’s already been linked with a move to Liverpool, where Arne Slot is believed to be a big fan of the player, while several other Premier League sides are also believed to be keen.

Tottenham have also been brought into the mix, with reports in England indicating that they might move as they continue to strengthen for Ange Postecoglou.

Dijkhuizen could certainly see his former teammate succeeding at Tottenham if he made the move, singing the youngster’s praises on Voetbal Primeur’s DoneDeal podcast.

“He once played us completely crazy, and then scored twice. Then we said to each other: if we can have that, we will become champions,” he said.

“From the moment he came in you immediately saw that boy has quality. In everything he did. His assumptions, his feeling for the ball.

“If you read that (about Tottenham), it’s just great. Now it’s up to him to make the right choice, but if he continues to develop like this, he could make it there.

“All I can say is that he is a very sweet, timid boy. He is very eager to learn and grateful.”
