Fanatik claim Fenerbahce are continuing to collect information on Chelsea left back Baba Rahman.

The Turkish side are looking to strengthen their left back department, and were linked with the Chelsea player in the summer.

During the Wyscout conference in London last week, Fanatik claim Fenerbahce CEO Hasan Cetinkaya met with Chelsea officials.

During the conversation, Rahman’s name was brought up, and Cetinkaya has been assured by Chelsea officials that Baba is physically very fit and eager to make the move to another club… which sounds an oddly positive response.

After his brief conversation with Chelsea, Cetinkaya returned to Istanbul, and Fenerbahce’s transfer committee is now looking to get further information on the 23 year old.

After his loan move to Schalke last season Rahman returned to Stamford Bridge, but he’s not seen as part of first team by Cherlsea boss Antonio Conte.

The Ghana international hasn’t played any competitive games for Chelsea this season, and he’s mainly spent his time with the Premier League side’s U23s.
