If there’s a big rumour bubbling in European football then TMW usually have to get involved.
More often than not it’s with an ‘Esclusiva’ as they claim to have information of their own related to a potential transfer.
This time the subject is Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a possible Manchester United exit before the end of his contract. Ibrahimovic’s deal ends in June, but in recent days there’s been rumours about an earlier exit, to allow the striker to get more prominence elsewhere.
TMW report the Manchester United transfer would be a ‘dream’ for Besiktas, who are looking to replace Cenk Tosun, who signed for Everton on Friday.
The Turkish club have been linked with every conceivable replacement for Tosun, so it makes sense for Zlatan to be thrown in.
Besiktas are said to have kicked off talks with agent Mino Raiola last week, to see how they can turn their dream into a reality.
The player’s wages would be huge even for Turkey, and Besiktas would also have to get Manchester United to release Ibrahimovic before the end of his contract.
