Turkish website Sporx claims Besiktas have tabled an offer to sign Leicester City midfielder Gokhan Inler before next week’s deadline.

Besiktas president Fikret Orman met Inler in London yesterday and the Switzerland international indicated that he would love to play for Besiktas. The Black Eagles are now waiting for a response from the Premier League champions.

It’s understood Besiktas made a loan offer for Inler and will pay 70% of his wages at Leicester which will be around €1.8 million. Besiktas also indicated there’ll be no loan fee.

Gokhan’s agents Dino Alberti and Elif Sozeri are currently in England to discuss the deal with Leicester officials, but the Foxes want his wages to be paid in full.

Inler hasn’t been involved in the 18-man squad for each of the Leicester City’s last 5 games, and the Swiss national is currently training with the clubs U21’s.

Inler wants to revitalise his career and regain his spot for his country, and he is hoping a move in this window will help he get a recall for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
