A Spor report Galatasaray are still interested in signing Stoke City midfielder Joe Allen after recently being linked with the Wales international.
The Turkish giants are reportedly looking to bring him to the Turk Telekom Stadium after Stoke City were recently relegated to the Championship.
According to A Spor, Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is the main reason behind the pursuit of the Stoke City star.
The former Liverpool and Swansea City midfielder is seen as a midfield option for Terim as the manager prepares his team for next season’s Champions League.
It’s claimed Galatasaray officials will meet with Allen’s agent in the coming days which should then lead to discussions with Stoke City. The Turkish side are hoping to land the central midfielder on a loan deal, but could face competition from other interested clubs.
The 28 year old is contracted to Stoke City until June 2021.
