Brooke Norton-Cuffy left Arsenal last summer and joined Italian side Genoa.

The right-back arrived at the Italian club for only €2m, and looks like something of a bargain for Patrick Vieira’s side.

After a slow start to the campaign, Norton-Cuffy has played 549 minutes in Serie A and has impressed in the past few weeks with his pace and ability to carry the ball.

He could now be turning into a regret for Arsenal, who may see their academy graduate earn a major move in the summer. RomaForever report the 21-year-old has ‘bewitched’ Roma with his performances and the Giallorossi’s sporting director Florent Ghisolfi is keen on pursuing a summer move for the talent.

The report states that a transfer will be complicated, with Genoa asking for a fee of around €5m to let Norton-Cuffy depart permanently.

The Englishman is praised for his strengths and it is presented as a mistake that Arsenal didn’t give him a chance in the first-team, with Norton-Cuffy spending loan stints at Rotherham, Coventry City and Millwall before departing the Emirates on a permanent basis.
