Wolves have now lost all of their last three Premier League games.
They have conceded ten goals in the process, letting in four goals each against Everton and Bournemouth.
There is now some concern at Wolves about the club’s drop in form, with Gary O’Neil’s side currently in 19th place in the Premier League.
Summer signing Jorgen Strand Larsen spoke to VG about how all of it is affecting him and his personal life, amongst other things.
The striker, who has six goals this season, told the outlet: “It’s hard to separate it from my personal life, it takes a toll on me. But of course I don’t dig myself deep for that reason.”
The Norwegian also expressed surprise at the situation at Molineux and revealed that he didn’t expect this when he joined in the summer.
“I’m a little surprised, of course. I looked at the team before I came, and looking at it now, it’s a team with top, top quality. It’s not about the team being weak, we just can’t get it together.”
“I feel a little sorry for the coaching staff who work very hard, but then we concede goals from set pieces for the third game in a row.”
The Norwegian forward went on to say he wants make things better, even if he is happy with his goalscoring form.
“I see that I have scored some goals, but I think it could have gone even better. In the situation we are in, I am generally satisfied. That does not mean that I am giving up on it.”
That is certainly encouraging from the new arrival and Wolves fans would also hope that other players echo a similar sentiment.
His side’s next two games are against Ipswich Town and Leicester City, in which they will be looking to pick up maximum points
A win in those games could elevate Wolves up the table and they could prove as the season unfolds.
