Ole Gunnar Solskjær will forever remain a favourite among Manchester United supporters old enough to remember his contribution to the club. Solskjær was an excellent player for Sir Alex Ferguson and contributed over a decade worth of his career to the cause.

Managing Molde since 2015, Solskjær has big hopes for Manchester United next season, and they largely involve Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Swedish newspaper Expressen say, according to their information, Ibrahimovic is set to extend with Manchester United beyond this season, which has led Solskjær to claim a Champions League win is possible.

“We hope that we qualify for the Champions League next year. Then I expect that Ibrahimovic wants to play on the biggest stage for the best club. There is no better place to play Champions League football than at Manchester United. It is the biggest and best club.”

The former Manchester United player is happy with what he’s seeing at club under Jose Mourinho, telling Expressen: “They’ve had some tough seasons and the football has not had the same good old trademark. This year, we have seen much of the old Manchester United.”
