Juventus’ chase for the Wolverhampton Wanderers star Raúl Jiménez continues to be followed by newspaper Tuttosport.
Today, the Italian outlet brings a more complete piece, saying agent Jorge Mendes has already spoken to the Old Lady’s board.
Juventus are now said to be looking for a way to afford the transfer, since Wolves would be demanding €50m for the striker.
An idea they had was to sign Jiménez on a two-year loan deal with an obligatory buying clause. But the Premier League side wouldn’t like to wait so long for the money, especially because the likes of Manchester United are in the competition for the player as well.
The other option for Juventus would be a swap deal, and Tuttosport comes up with two names who could be involved.
One of them is Daniele Rugani, who Wolves tried to sign in the last summer, and he rejected a move to the Molineux side. The other one is Adrien Rabiot, whose future in Turin is very uncertain.
It’s not that any of these players have been mentioned in the talks so far. Tuttosport just say these are ideas which could come from Wolves’ side of the table.
