A Roque Mesa quick exit from Swansea City is again being reported as a possibility in Spain. Arriving from Las Palmas in the summer, the 28 year old was perhaps hyped up beyond all reason and has so far failed to have any real impact in the Premier League.

Whilst Mesa himself recently stated his desire of continuing with Swansea City at least until the end of the season, it’s not convinced many in Spain. And apparently the player himself wasn’t too convinced either.

Wednesday’s edition of Marca says Mesa sees ‘with good eyes’ the prospect of a quick return to Spain. Malaga is the club picked out by the Spanish newspaper, and it’s claimed talks have already been held with the player’s agent, with the results seemingly positive.

It’s stated that good relations built from the deal to send Borja Baston to Malaga on loan mean there’s a better chance of Swansea City agreeing to a January switch, which would also likely be a loan.
