Tuesday saw several reports link Swansea City with a move for Santiago Arias.
The claims appear to be pretty concrete, but it seems Swansea haven’t done anything about that interest yet, at least as far as PSV are concerned.
Wednesday’s edition of De Telegraaf has a little snippet on the situation, and it’s stated PSV manager Phillip Cocu, who played for Barcelona more than 200 times and picked up more than a hundred caps for the Netherlands, is planning for the next match with the defender.
PSV face Roda on Sunday at home in the Eredivisie, and despite reports of Swansea City interest, Arias remains part of Cocu’s plans.
Arias is recovering from an ankle knock but it’s hoped he can return to full training this week, and therefore be available for the Roda game.
De Telegraaf say Swansea haven’t contacted PSV about a potential transfer, so the reports have been news to the Dutch club.
That could the next transfer step for Swansea City, which may change Cocu’s plans.
