Turkiye report Fenerbahce will send Andre Ayew back to Swansea City at the end of the season despite the Championship side being keen to seal a deal with the Turkish side.

The Welsh club have reportedly told Fenerbahce they are ready to loan him back to the Istanbul club for a discounted price but Fenerbahce have rejected the idea and they won’t extend his stay for another year.

Ayew’s form has dipped during the second half of the season and Turkiye report Fenerbahce manager Ersun Yanal doesn’t want to see him in his squad for next campaign.

Swansea City have also told Fenerbahce they are open to renegotiating Ayew’s redemption clause but the Super Lig club have stated they are not looking to activate it.

Earlier this year Yanal spoke highly of the player but the Ghana international has disappointed with his performances since the turn of the year.

Ayew is now likely to return to Swansea City.
