At the start of August, A Bola said Swansea City were close to signing Nélson Oliveira from Benfica. The story claimed the announcement should be made soon, as the Welsh club had won the competition of Nottingham Forest for the striker.

Two weeks after that, the same newspaper is back with an article about Oliveira’s situation at Benfica, which is still undefined.

The 25-year-old is currently training with Benfica B as he’s not part of the club’s plans.

Oliveira is said to be waiting for a solution, as the possibility of rejoining Swansea City is still real (and the only one mentioned by A Bola).

The Portuguese player finished the last season with nine goals in 29 Championship games for Nottingham Forest. During his spell at Swansea City in 2014/15, he only scored one goal in 11 appearances.
