Swansea City are reportedly in the battle for Copa America champion Mauricio Isla. The Juventus midfielder should be leaving the club soon and there’s a big competition for his signing this summer.
According to JN24, Isla is wanted by Swansea, Lazio and Besiktas.
Lazio’s desire to sign the player would be a person ask from Marcelo Bielsa, who has just taken charge of the club.
Swansea’s advantadge in the race is reportedly the manager Francesco Guidolin. He has already worked with Isla at Udinese, and JN24 says the player would like to reunite with his old boss for the next season.
Isla signed for Juventus from Udinese in 2012 for €14m. It’s been some time that the Old Lady have not been counting on him, and he spent the last two seasons on loan at QPR and Olympique Marseille.
