Swansea City are looking to move in on PSV defender Santiago Arias, according to claims in Italy. The Colombian has been linked with a move to Premier League this summer, following reports West Ham United were also interested in the player.

TMW have today reported Swansea City are looking to make an €8m offer for Arias, including bonuses. Swansea City manager Paul Clement will be looking to add to his squad after maintaining their status in the top flight last season.

However, the Premier League side may need to increase their bid to sign the Colombian international, according to TMW, due to interest from other clubs.

We covered reports of West Ham interest in April, and since then the club have agreed a deal with Manchester City right back Pablo Zabeleta, so it’s not known if they will now still pursue the PSV defender.

The player recently said he would be interested in a move to the Premier League, and it seems Swansea City are in pole potion to sign the South American.
