Italy’s Calciomercato cover claims from Sky Italia that the brother and agent of Marko Arnautovic has offered the West Ham player back to Inter Milan.
Arnautovic moved to West Ham from Stoke City in the last summer transfer window and was a bright spark for the club in a difficult season.
It’s claimed Arnautovic has been offered along with Stoke City right back Moritz Bauer.
The West Ham player had a spell at Inter Milan earlier in his career, but it’s fair to say that didn’t go very well. Then a youngster, Arnautovic was at Inter for the club’s very successful season under Jose Mourinho, when they won three trophies including the Champions League, but he didn’t really play a part.
Considered immature and trouble by the Milan club, they didn’t decide to make his loan move from FC Twente permanent, and Calciomercato don’t think there’s any interest in having him return.
Earlier this month there were claims from Austria that Arnautovic’s brother Danijel had been exchanging messages with Jose Mourinho. That claim came shortly after reports of Manchester United interest.
