Bari defender Valerio Di Cesare has told the Italian media there’s still a possibility he could move this summer, despite having two years left on his contract with the Serie B side. The 33-year-old has been linked with a move to Leeds United in the past week, along with Hellas Verona.

Speaking to TuttoBari, Di Cesare was asked about recent speculation linking him to other clubs in this transfer window. The central defender said it’s still very early in the transfer market, but believes anything can happen in football.

Di Cesare went on to say at his age he’s seen everything in the game, so moving to another club isn’t something which can be ruled out.

“It’s still July 18th, it’s still early, but in football anything can happen. I’m 33, I’ve seen everything,” said the veteran defender on his future.

Leeds United are interested in signing Di Cesare this window following claims in Italy the Championship want the former Chelsea youth player to replace the departed Giuseppe Bellusci.

Di Cesare’s agent has also confirmed Leeds United are tracking his client, but revealed other clubs are also keen on the central defender.
