Today is a holiday in Spain but that doesn’t stop transfer business being pushed forward, as Estadio Deportivo explain on Monday afternoon.

The Seville newspaper had already reported that Alvaro Morata could be returning to Spain and signing for Sevilla, and that the player’s side of the agreement had already been worked and produced a positive answer.

Contacts have been continuing and Estadio Deportivo say Juanma Lopez, Morata’s agent, has arrived at the club today to meet with Joaquín Caparrós and Paco Gallardo.

Whilst contacts have been continuing in recent days on a potential transfer, that Lopez is there today is considering a surprise.

It’s thought that before Chelsea can agree to their striker’s exit they need to sign a replacement themselves or make-do with the return of Michy Bathsuayi from Valencia, with the Spanish club not impressed with the Belgian striker so far this season.

El Desmarque, another local Seville outlet, report Lopez arrived on Monday morning.
