Takvim report Galatasaray are interested in signing West Bromwich Albion attacker Salomon Rondon.
The Venezuelan striker, who’s currently on loan at Newcastle United has scored nine goals for the Premier League side this season.
Takvim claim Galatasaray scouts will follow the West Brom owned player until the end of the season and they will report directly to the Istanbul club’s manager Fatih Terim.
After becoming frustrated with the club’s January arrivals, Mbaye Diagne and Kostas Mitroglou, Takvim say Galatasaray have already entered the market for a new striker.
Newcastle United have the option to make Rondon’s move permanent for £16.5m in the summer but it’s currently uncertain whether they will activate the clause.
With Rafael Benitez’s future still in limbo there will be uncertainty whether the West Brom player will join Newcastle United on a permanent deal.
Dwight Gayle was part of the deal which saw the South American head to St James’ Park. Gayle is set to return to the North East club in the summer.
