HaberGlobal’s Fenerbahce journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has claimed Liverpool are interested in signing Fenerbahce target Max Kruse, along with Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.

It’s been well documented in the Turkish press that Fenerbahce are interested in signing Kruse, who is currently out of contract after leaving Werder Bremen.

Fener are looking to rebuild their squad this summer and they are hoping to bring in free agents due to FFP implications.

Sabuncuoglu claims the Turkish club have made the best financial offer to the German attacker but he also has other admirers.

It’s reported Liverpool and Bayern Munich are interested in the 31 year old as they see him as a squad player for next season, and Bayer Leverkusen are also keen as they look to replace others.

Despite Liverpool’s interest Kruse wants to play regularly and according to Sabuncuoglu this is a big plus for Fenerbahce. However, if only half the clubs who have been linked are genuinely keen, then Fener will be lucky to secure the signing.
