Galatasaray are set to rival Premier League clubs Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion to sign PSV winger Luciano Narsingh.
Both Premier League clubs have been showing an interest in Narsingh for a while and now Galatasaray are in the race to land him, according to Sabah.
Galatasaray recently sent their winger Yasin Öztekin, whose scored 7 goals this season, to the reserve team after his lack of discipline during the the Turkish Cup match against Tuzlaspor.
Cim-Bom manager Jan Olde Riekerink has told the board they can sell Yasin Öztekin, and the Galatasaray board also believe selling him is the right decision, with Russian club Rubin Kazan set to offer €4m for his services.
Galatasaray hope to fill this void by signing Narsingh with reports they’re currently in talks with PSV over the Dutch international.
Narsingh, will become a free agent at the end of the season and PSV might be tempted to sell him rather than leave him on free.
Narsingh’s friendship with Wesley Sneijder could be a good factor for Galatasaray and the veteran playmaker has captained Narsingh many times for the Netherlands.
Sunderland and West Brom have been linked with Narsingh in recent months, and the reported €6m fee wouldn’t be a concern to the Premier League sides.
Sunderland tried to sign the Netherlands international in the summer, whilst West Brom have recently joined the race. Sunderland’s David Moyes and West Brom’s Tony Pulis will want to bring in players next month, and Narsingh is a possibility.
