Sunderland owned defender Papy Djilobodji has spoken to the French media about his time in England, and his search for yoga lessons in Newcastle.
Djilobodji is currently on loan with French side Dijon, but the player gives the impression he’s there on a permanent basis.
Speaking to L’Equipe, the Sunderland loanee was asked about his love for yoga: “Not in Bremen because I only stayed for a short time and I lived in a hotel. But when I was playing in Sunderland, yes, I found a yoga teacher in Newcastle because I lived there.”
The 28 year old played just 18 league games for the Black Cats last season, and after a change in the coaching staff during the summer he was surplus to requirements.
Djilobodji signed for Sunderland just over 12 months ago from Chelsea for a transfer fee in the region of £8m.
The player arrived in England in 2015 when he surprisingly signed for Chelsea, but never made an appearance for the West London club.
