Eduardo Camavinga is happy at Real Madrid amid recent claims linking him with a move to Manchester City.

That’s according to Spanish journalist Mario Cortegana. He provided an update on this case on Rubén Martín’s Twitch channel, and Fichajes have relayed his comments.

Recent claims have stated Manchester City have been keeping an eye on the midfielder ahead of the summer window.

These claims have also stated that the Citizens are aiming to tempt the 22-year-old move to the Premier League.

Fichajes explain Los Blancos are aware of the France international’s qualities and that injuries have impacted him.

Cortegana, who mainly focuses his coverage on Real Madrid, provides the midfielder’s stance amid the Manchester City links. He claims to have contacted people close to the former Stade Rennais man and they have ruled out an exit.

“It seems to me that someone is interested in getting this information out, and I would even dare to say that this comes from the player’s side, because it says everything and says nothing,” he said.

“At a time when Camavinga is being criticised, he is being linked to one of the best clubs in the world.

“I asked people very close to the Frenchman and they told me that there are no options, no way, that he is a Real Madrid fan. They told me that there is nothing.”

That should put any possibility of the Frenchman leaving Real Madrid for Pep Guardiola’s side or any other club to one side.

Camavinga’s contract lasts until 2029 and made 27 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga club this season.
