Liverpool and Arsenal haven’t made offers for Porto youngster Diogo Queirós, despite the recent links with the player.

Just a few days ago, we covered reports from Portugal which claimed that the Gunners or Reds could be making a ‘tempting offer’ for the defender soon.

Now that the same story has been out in England, newspaper O Jogo went after more updates on it, and find out that things are in the really early stages for now.

The newspaper claims the basis for these recent claims are ‘mere approaches’ and there aren’t any bids for Queirós for now.

O Jogo recalls that the youngster currently has a release clause which stands at €25m, and for the way they put it, it’s very likely that this will be Queirós’ tag price in the summer.

Besides Arsenal and Liverpool, Bournemouth and Roma have also been recently linked to the player.

The Reds are the club pushed forward the most, but, as the Portuguese media explain, it’s all in the early stages.
