Suggestion Everton attempt would now be listened to, Man United due 30% of transfer fee

Cadena Ser say there’s a suspicion at Real Sociedad that Adnan Januzaj could ask to leave when the season finishes.

Signed from Manchester United for around €10m, the Belgium international has had an up and down time in the Basque region, with some really bright flashes and periods of injury.

Should the 24 year old’s agent ask for an exit, then he’ll be told to bring good offers.

Cadena Ser say that Everton were interested in the last summer window, at a time when Real Sociedad wouldn’t consider a sale, and the suggestion is things could be different should they, or another Premier League club, try again this summer.

No potential fee is mentioned, but it’s explained 30% of the next transfer fee must be paid to Manchester United as part of the deal which took Januzaj to Spain.

It’s not stated whether that 30% is for all the fee, or simply the profit.

Januzaj is supremely talented yet his consistency issues would surely make Everton and others think twice.
