With Lucas Moura expected to leave Tottenham Hotspur at the end of the season, there’s a lot of talk in the Brazilian media about where he’ll play next.
This week, there were rumours saying Vasco da Gama could go after the 30-year-old to try to sign him for free.
However, as journalist Jorge Nicola had a word with the player’s agent, it’s claimed that the Tottenham player shouldn’t be returning to Brazil anytime soon.
Speaking to the reporter, Junior Pedroso said: “There is no movement in that direction. We are studying proposals in Europe to choose the best path for Lucas”.
Lucsa Moura only has 16 appearances for Tottenham this season, and most of them were when used in the final minutes of games.
His last appearance for Spurs was in the match against Everton, when he was brought in in the 82th minute and sent off in the 88th.
His entourage many times made it clear that his focus is to stay in Europe for a few more years, but it seems there’s nothing concrete for now, and the season he’s been having at Tottenham is certainly not helping him to get many offers on the table.
