Telenord, a Genoa regional news outlet, reports West Ham have an offer ready for Ronaldo Vieira.

There’s said to be ‘strong pressing’ from the Hammers, and this comes after reports over the past week about interest from the Premier League club.

West Ham’s offer, which doesn’t seem to have been made official yet, is put at around €20m. That’s a big fee and would represent a good profit on what Sampdoria paid to Leeds United for the 23 year old.

Despite that, it’s suggested manager Claudio Ranieri could put a block on the move, because Sampdoria aren’t bless with strength in Ronaldo Vieira’s midfield position.

Just under a week ago, we covered claims from Italy that a ‘super offer’ from West Ham had been rejected. The amount then was put at €14m, and it was made very clear the Genoa club don’t want to sell their player this month.

They clearly feel they can get a good price for him in the summer, so there’s little point in depriving themselves now.
