Arsenal and Manchester United are in the picture to sign River Plate’s Ian Subiabre.
That’s according to journalist Sebastián Srur, and he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share an update on Arsenal and Manchester United.
The 18-year-old is set to start against Club Atlético Sarmiento this weekend. After stating this, the journalist claims Arsenal and the Red Devils are ‘very interested’ in the forward.
He claims the Premier League duo’s ‘interest is strong’, and that’s all he has to say about the two clubs.
Srur makes no mention if one or both of Arsenal and Manchester United have contacted Subiabre’s camp or River Plate.
Towards the end of February, multiple claims from Argentine stated Chelsea are keen on signing the youngster. It was also said Subiabre has a €30 release clause in his contract that expires in December 2026.
Arsenal, Manchester United or any other club wanting to sign the attacker would have to pay €30m.
The Argentina U20 international graduated from River Plate’s academy and made his first team debut last year.
