Even though the rumours about the future of Gonçalo Ramos had cooled down a little, we’re back to seeing Manchester United and Newcastle United being linked to the player.
That’s a story which comes from newspaper O Jogo, who highlight the player’s return to Portuguese League games after the World Cup break.
At the end of their article, they point out that Ramos continues to draw interest from clubs such as Manchester United, Newcastle United and Paris Saint Germain.
Regarding Manchester United, it’s claimed that the striker is on ‘Erik ten Hag’s list’ to reinforce the Red Devils’ attack ‘already in January’. Meanwhile, it’s also claimed that the player is ‘followed’ by Newcastle and PSG.
However, there isn’t any information about offers or even advanced contacts from any of those clubs so far.
Ramos is protected by a €120m clause, and it’s very likely that’s how much Benfica will demand for his sale in January, especially because they seem to be on the verge of losing Enzo Fernandez, who following great World Cup appearances is also getting huge interest from European giants.
