One of the recurring names linked with West Ham during the January transfer period, Boulaye Dia eventually ended up staying at Stade de Reims.

The striker had been in fine form during the first half of the campaign, scoring 12 goals by January 9th in Ligue 1, but he has since found himself struggling a bit more, scoring just two since then.

Still, the talent remains there, and West Ham haven’t forgotten about him.

This is according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that both Napoli and Fiorentina are after him for the summer, with the two Serie A sides looking to take advantage of the fact his current deal expires in 2022.

The same applies for West Ham, as Dia still ‘appeals’ to them, clearly intent on keeping an eye on him ahead of the summer transfer window.

The status of the targets David Moyes could go after will depend on where the Hammers finish the season, and it could be that Dia currently stands on the ‘if we don’t qualify for the Champions League’ wishlist, whereas someone like Youssef En-Nesyri would be on the ‘we made the top four’ one.
